The Border Collie like you’ve never seen before
A book that redefines how we see dogs
This book wasn’t written to sell. It was written because she exists.
Bryanna is not a manual. It doesn’t offer tips, tricks, or reassurance. It offers clarity—on instinct, structure, and the cost of misunderstanding both.
At its heart, this book is about dogs—how they think, what we ask of them, and what we fail to see. But it’s through the Border Collie that everything becomes undeniable.
If you think you understand, read this anyway. If you’re ready to see differently, start here.
Are you curious about ....?
...why is it that we are talking about dogs? What even is that?
...what is the science behind them?
...how does the dog mind work? And, how to respect their nature?
...fun activities to do together?
... if a Border Collie is the right dog for you? Which kinds of Border Collies exist?
...how to spot the best place to find your future four-legged friend?
Would you like to learn how to see the world through their eyes?
Dogs are not what we say they are.
Nor are they what we want them to be.

About the Author
Rocío Bagán (Valencia, 2004) grew up in a Border Collie breeding programme and began studying canine behaviour and structure before the age of ten.
Her background combines applied fieldwork, early pattern recognition, and a preference for data over opinion. She is currently completing a degree in biotechnology and has co-founded both a scientific start-up and a student organisation in the field of biotechnology.
You can take a look at her LinkedIn—no judgment.
She believes dogs are not here to serve us, but to show us something we forgot.

My Way
Publishers. Lovely people, honestly. Always full of 'helpful' ideas about how I should tweak my words, my structure, my choices. In short: sign here, and sell your soul. I didn’t. Turns out, I didn’t need them—I’d rather do things on my own terms.
Every word, every line, every detail of the design and the packaging—it’s all on me. My decision, my responsibility. Printed locally. Placed where I trust. Handled by people who actually care.
It’s not discounted, and it never will be. Its value doesn’t dip for Black Friday or any other excuse we invent to feel like we’ve found a bargain. The price reflects the care, the time and the thought that’s gone into it. And honestly, it’s not out of reach—it’s worth exactly what it offers.
You won’t find it on the big platforms, either. I’d rather support small, local shops—people who care about good work, fairness and quality more than convenience. It belongs in places where attention matters more than reach, where craft is noticed.
Pick it up, and you’ll feel it—the care, the intention, the mind behind it.
That’s the point. That’s the experience.
If that strikes a chord, it’s meant for you.

What Readers Are Saying

As more readers finish the book, their voices will appear on Google.
If you’ve already read it and feel it stayed with you in any way, I’d be grateful if you shared your thoughts there.
No pressure to be long or polished — just honest. Your words can help others see what this book really is.
Thank you for being part of this.

Where To Find It
The official stockist is La Tienda de los Baganicos—my mum’s shop.
She’s been there from the very start—saw every version, every late-night tweak, every overthought comma. She knows exactly what it is, and what it took to make it real. To be fair, she probably knows it better than I do by now.
So it made sense. She understands it—the real value behind it. Not the 'recommended retail' kind, but the kind built on hours, choices, and those stubborn little details no one else would notice.
That’s why it’s with her. She doesn’t treat it like stock. It’s not inventory. It’s work—finished, deliberate, and cared for by someone who knows exactly where it came from.
If you’d like one, that’s where you’ll find it.
And if you’re a library or a small shop, she’s the one to contact.
What Are You Waiting For?
This is not a self-pleasing book.
It’s a challenging one.
It might make you feel uncomfortable.
But maybe that’s exactly what we need—
to see them clearly, finally.
Self-published with care in November 2025.
You're welcome to write.
I may not reply to everything—not out of distance, but because time is limited and I try to use it well.
But if what you share is thoughtful, sincere, respectful, and meaningful to you, I’ll read it with care.
